Formerly Go-Wash, now Gisborne Carwash, we're under new ownership and looking for a fantastic person to help us take the business forward.

We're seeking a friendly, practical and self-motivated Customer Service & Site Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Carwash facility.

This is a sole-charge role with plenty of variety, combining customer service, site operations and hands-on problem-solving. You'll be the face of the business, ensuring customers have a great experience while keeping the site looking its best and running smoothly.

WHATS ON OFFER:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm, NO weekends and flexibility when needed for a great work/life balance.

  • Competitive hourly rate - $35–$42 per hour + free carwashes!

  • Sole charge, autonomous role -make the job your own!

THE ROLE:

  • This is a varied position combining customer service, site presentation and basic maintenance.

  • You don't need to be a trade-wizard, but handy enough to help with straightforward repairs such as replacing hoses and fittings (full training will be given)

  • You'll be the person who keeps things running smoothly, ensures customers have a positive experience and takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-presented facility.

  • Providing friendly, helpful customer service and creating a welcoming, positive experience for every customer.

  • Carrying out routine checks and identifying maintenance issues.

  • We are a cashless site, but basic admin skills will be required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A friendly, approachable person who enjoys helping customers.

  • Someone reliable, organised and comfortable working independently.

  • A practical, hands-on approach.

  • Confidence using basic tools and undertaking simple maintenance.

  • Awesome communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't need constant supervision.

  • Previous experience in customer service, site operations, facilities maintenance or similar.

  • Positive attitude, reliability and practical ability.
