About the role
Maximum Cleaning Services Limited is seeking an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager - Building Wash to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Onehunga, Auckland, where you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and market expansion for our building wash services division. This role is strategically important to our company's objectives, as you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, developing client relationships, and significantly contributing to our revenue targets and market presence in the building maintenance sector.
Key responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the building wash services market across Auckland and wider regions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, gaps in the market, and strategic opportunities for business growth
Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client needs and requirements
Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure new business whilst maintaining profitability
Collaborate with internal teams including operations and account management to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding
Establish and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, email campaigns and industry events
Provide feedback to management on market conditions, client feedback and competitive threats
You will be out on the road seeking new oppourtunities
What we're looking for
Proven track record in new business development or sales, preferably within the cleaning services, facilities management or related industries
Strong understanding of the commercial cleaning or building maintenance market
Demonstrated ability to identify and convert sales opportunities and close deals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels
Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage leads and track pipeline
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive drive to achieve and exceed targets
Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
Full New Zealand driving licence and reliable transport is essential for this role
Ideally 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales management capacity
