Certified Drainlayer

We're looking for an experienced Certified Drainlayer to join our team. If you take pride in your work, can run a job from start to finish, and aren't afraid to get stuck in alongside the crew, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a hands-on role working across residential, commercial, and civil projects throughout the region. You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining stormwater, sewer, and wastewater infrastructure while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing stormwater, sewer, and wastewater drainage systems

• Reading plans and setting out work on site

• Laying pipes, manholes, sumps, and associated infrastructure

• Operating excavators and other machinery where required

• Working closely with site supervisors, contractors, and clients

• Ensuring work complies with New Zealand drainage standards and council requirements

• Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety

What We're Looking For

• Current NZ Certified or Registered Drainlayer qualification

• Proven experience in the drainage industry

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

• Strong understanding of drainage systems, grades, and levels

• Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements are a bonus)

• Able to work independently and take ownership of your work
