We’re looking for an experienced, confident Relief Class 5 Driver for a fixed-term assignment from 19 November to 18 December, working Monday to Friday.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver who is comfortable behind the wheel of a truck and trailer unit and confident manoeuvring in tight dock areas.
What your shift will look like
- Start: 4:30pm
- Finish: approximately 2:00am–4:00am
- Route: Hamilton to Auckland and back, twice per shift
- Driving a truck and trailer unit
- Monday to Friday night shifts
What you’ll bring
- A current, clean Class 5 driver licence
- Proven Class 5 truck and trailer driving experience
- Excellent reversing and manoeuvring skills
- The confidence to reverse a truck and trailer into dockways, including tight spaces with trucks parked on either side
- A reliable approach and confidence working independently on night shifts
- Availability for the full relief period from 19 November to 18 December
