About the role

We are looking for a Duty Manager at Provedor, Auckland CBD

Duty Manager Responsibilities

Reports to: Bar Manager and Venue Manager.

Supervise bar and floor staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and friendly, efficient service.
Monitor responsible alcohol service, including ID checks, intoxication management and compliance with the venue’s license conditions.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints and incidents professionally.
Maintain venue cleanliness, presentation and health and safety standards.
Follow noise management procedures and complete required checks and records.
Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling and shift reports.
Support stock control and report shortages or operational issues.
Follow management instructions and promptly report staffing, customer or compliance concerns to the Bar Manager or Venue Manager.
Must have a Current Duty Manager Certificate
