Health Professional - Registered Nurse (Residential Support)

Arataki Ministries | Whangārei

Arataki Ministries provides community-based mental health services across the Whangārei and Kaipara regions. We are seeking a full-time Health Professional Registered Nurse to join our team based in Whangārei on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

This role supports people experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges to live well in the community. The focus of the role is walking alongside people on their recovery journey and supporting them to build meaningful lives and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role

You will work in a 6-bed residential service for individuals with higher support needs who may otherwise spend extended periods in an inpatient unit.

The service operates in a home-like environment, providing a supportive alternative to hospital-based care. The role involves working alongside support staff and the wider clinical team to provide safe, recovery-focused care.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
