About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our St Lukes Westfield Auckland location at Xplosiv Supplements. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the overall management, profitability, and operational excellence of the store. As Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating an exceptional customer experience whilst maintaining high standards of visual merchandising, stock control, and team performance. This role is crucial to our retail success and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on our store's achievements and growth within the supplements and retail sector.
Key responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing store team, providing coaching, training and performance management
Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators for the store
Manage inventory control, stock rotation and ordering to minimise shrinkage and waste
Maintain exceptional standards of store presentation, cleanliness and visual merchandising
Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming store environment that encourages repeat business
Assist with selection and onboard new team members to build a strong workforce
Implement and adhere to company policies, procedures and brand standards
Monitor and respond to customer feedback to continuously improve the shopping experience
Liaise with head office on marketing initiatives, promotions and product launches
Health and safety compliance, including maintaining a safe working environment for staff and customers
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar retail management role within a fast-paced retail environment
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Excellent sales and customer service skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
Knowledge of retail inventory management systems and point-of-sale software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Flexibility and resilience to manage the demands of a retail environment
Passion for the supplements and wellness industry is advantageous but not essential
Experience in the supplements or health and fitness sector would be highly valued
