JOB TITLE: Sr Engineering Technician
LOCATION: Torrance, CA
PAY RATE: $ 38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.

  • Establishes a standard production rate for maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.

  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks and may direct and lead the work of others.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Applies expertise in electro-mechanical systems.

  • Analyzes blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Performs J-standard soldering techniques for new and reworked printed circuit boards.

  • Manufactures and repairs cables and harnesses.

  • Interprets blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Fabricates test boxes and constructs or repairs test consoles.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • High school degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience in the field.

  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Expertise in electro-mechanical systems.

  • Ability to analyze blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Proficiency in J-standard soldering techniques for new and reworked printed circuit boards.

  • Capability to manufacture and repair cables and harnesses.

  • Competency in interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.

  • Ability to fabricate test boxes.

  • Ability to construct or repair test consoles.
