We’re looking for an experienced workshop general hand to join our client’s team in Avondale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, well-established business with plenty of room to develop your skills, take on new challenges and progress into other roles within the company over time.

It’s a great fit for someone with previous workshop or assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and working alongside fabricators and welders

Mon - Fri

7am - 3.15pm

What you will be doing?

• Assisting fabricators and welders with assembly and general workshop work.

• Reading and following plans and drawings.

• Using rivet guns, hand tools and power tools.

• Preparing materials and assisting with jobs as required.

What we are looking for?

• Previous experience as a workshop general hand in a fabrication or similar environment.

• Confident using hand tools, power tools and rivet guns.

• Able to read and follow plans and drawings.

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment and managing changing priorities.

• Reliable, practical and proactive, with a good work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team
