Are you a technically-minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships and solving problems in the field? We are looking for an External Sales Representative to grow and manage customer relationships across an assigned sales territory, promoting our pumps, spare parts, and repair services.

As the trusted technical and commercial contact for your customers, you'll get out from behind a desk and into the field — visiting sites, understanding pumping systems, and connecting customers with the right solutions, backed by a skilled internal sales and workshop team. You can be based anywhere on the lower North Island

About the Role

•    Manage and grow customer relationships within your allocated sales territory through planned visits, calls, and email contact

•    Actively promote and sell our full product and service range: pumps and pumping systems, spare parts, workshop and on-site repairs, installations, and service contracts

•    Develop new business through networking and proactive cold calling

•    Build and maintain a rolling 4–8 week call plan tailored to your territory

•    Act as a technical resource for customers, gathering the right information to support pump selection, system design, and repairs

•    Promote the capabilities of our workshops, including repairs, installations, laser coupling alignment, ultrasonic flow testing, and asset management

•    Prepare quotation enquiries and liaise closely with the internal sales team to deliver accurate, timely solutions

•    Maintain accurate customer and activity records in our CRM (Infusion)

•    Travel overnight as required, with at least one week per call plan typically out of town

•    With your office based from home, you can build, with the team, a call cycle that supports your life and meets our clients needs

About You

•    Proven sales experience, ideally in a technical, industrial, or trade-based environment

•    A strong customer focus, with the confidence to build rapport and identify opportunities

•    Mechanical aptitude or a willingness to develop strong technical knowledge of pumps and pumping systems

•    Excellent planning and time-management skills, with the ability to work autonomously

•    Comfortable with CRM systems and accurate administration

•    A team player who contributes to a collaborative, branch-focused sales culture

•    A current full NZ driver's licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays

What's on Offer

•    Competitive salary + vehicle / tools of trade

•    Support from an experienced internal sales and workshop team

•    Ongoing product and technical training

•    The opportunity to represent a well-established name in pumps, parts, and repairs
