Working closely with managers and partners, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with current regulations
Producing management accounts and financial reports
Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns
Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT work
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Assisting clients with business and accounting queries
Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client processes

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have

Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge
Experience managing your own client portfolio
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
