Back Our Rural Team: Join Us as a Rural Administrator!

Right now, we’re looking for full-time organised, people-focused Rural Administrator to join our Bay of Plenty rural team. You’ll be the friendly voice on the phone, the first point of contact for our farming and lifestyle clients, and the steady hand that keeps our rural team running like clockwork.
Full training will be provided, so what matters most is strong administration skills, great attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn.
This is a fixed-term position of approximately 13 months, covering parental leave. We’d ideally like the successful candidate to start in late November or early December 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting our rural team with new listings, marketing, and Sale & Purchase Agreements for rural and lifestyle properties.
Creating brochures, window cards, and information memorandums (IMs), and paginating advertising.
Keeping everything ticking along behind the scenes, from coding invoices to working with our finance and Support Centre teams.
Being a great first point of contact for clients, whether they call, email, or pop in after a day on the farm.
Keeping the branch looking sharp, from rural window displays to branded materials and stationery.
Organising auctions, client functions, and professional breakfasts, and packing promotional boxes for seasonal campaigns.
Keeping our Facebook page fresh with relevant rural content.
Pitching in wherever needed, including cover at other branches in the region. That’s how we do things here.
What You’ll Bring
Solid administration experience and a real eye for accuracy and detail.
Confidence with Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
A warm, professional manner and genuine care for people.
Discretion and good judgement, as you’ll handle confidential information every day.
A positive, can-do attitude and a calm head when things get busy.
An understanding of, or interest in, the rural sector. This is a real bonus.
