All-Rounder – Campervan Rentals
$55,000 base salary + Kiwisaver + Monthly KPI Bonus & Sales Commission: OTE $60,000-$65,000
Travellers Autobarn is a global campervan rental company, born in Australia and now rolling across New Zealand, the U.S., and Japan. Our Auckland branch is looking for a practical, reliable, and friendly All-Rounder to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis, helping get campervans hire-ready and delivering unforgettable service to our travellers.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with plenty of variety. One moment you’ll be fixing a cupboard hinge or checking tyres; the next you’ll be welcoming travellers, handing over keys, and setting them up for the road trip of a lifetime.
Who You Are
Practical, switched-on, and dependable. People trust you to get things done.
Handy with tools and confident doing small repairs (not a tradie, but DIY-savvy).
Approachable and clear when talking with customers.
Organised and tidy, you take pride in doing things properly.
Happy working both independently and in a small, close-knit team.
What You’ll Do
Carry out campervan safety checks, interior repairs, and minor refurbishments.
Quality-check the work of our contract cleaners to make sure vans are spotless.
Greet customers and process rental contracts.
Provide handovers and trip briefings to excited road-trippers.
Upsell add-ons like insurance, camping gear, and more.
Support the Branch Manager in keeping the branch running smoothly.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
Practical hands-on skills: confident with tools, repairs, and problem-solving.
Strong people skills: warm, clear, and customer-focused.
Good attention to detail and efficient work style.
The legal right to work in New Zealand.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in customer service, tourism, or vehicle rental.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or rental systems.
A love for travel, vans, or the camping lifestyle.

$55,000 base salary + Kiwisaver.
Monthly KPI bonus – $500 (at-risk).
Monthly Sales commission on add-ons and insurance (Uncapped).
