About This Role

JLL is seeking a Platform Integration Engineer to own the complete integration lifecycle — design, build, UAT, and deployment — across our Aravo supplier management platform. Aravo is live globally supporting our Workplace Management business, and this role will lead the end-to-end delivery of new integrations connecting Aravo to systems including PeopleSoft, Trustpair, Ingenious, Omnea, Yardi, Avetta, and ISN, along with phase 2 of our Aravo-to-Corrigo integration for Certificates of Insurance.

This is a SaaS integration delivery role, not a software development position. You will own the full integration lifecycle — from requirements gathering through production deployment — using platform-native APIs, file-based integration tools, and middleware to connect enterprise systems. You'll configure integrations, design data mappings, execute UAT with business stakeholders, and manage production deployments through formal change management processes.

Beyond integration delivery, this role includes operational ownership of Trustpair on behalf of JLL Technology — managing change requests, SOC audit responses, and stakeholder relationships. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role partnering with Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable to shape how our supplier and vendor systems work together.

What You'll Own: The Complete Integration Lifecycle

Design (Requirements → Technical Specifications)

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Design data flows between Aravo and connected systems, defining field mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, and error handling
  • Create technical specifications including data mapping documents, API endpoint configurations, file format definitions, and integration architecture diagrams
  • Ensure designs align with JLL's integration standards and platform capabilities
  • Balance business needs against technical feasibility — know when to push back on scope that creates maintenance challenges

Build (Configuration & Implementation)

  • Configure integrations using platform-native tools, APIs (REST/SOAP), file-based transfers (CSV/XML/JSON), or middleware platforms
  • Set up API connections: authentication, endpoint configuration, request/response formatting, and error handling
  • Build file-based integrations: define file formats, field mappings, transformation rules, and automated file transfers (SFTP, AWS S3)
  • Configure middleware workflows (if using MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, or similar tools) to orchestrate data movement between systems
  • Implement data validation and reconciliation logic to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • This is platform configuration work, not custom software development — you'll use SaaS admin consoles, integration tools, and low-code/no-code platforms

UAT (Testing & Validation)

  • Develop comprehensive test plans covering happy paths, error scenarios, data validation, and edge cases
  • Execute end-to-end testing: validate data accuracy, verify transformations, test error handling, and confirm system behavior
  • Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders: schedule testing sessions, provide test data, document results, and track defects
  • Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Document test results, create defect reports, and manage issue resolution with platform owners
  • Sign off on UAT completion before moving to production deployment

Deploy (Production Release & Go-Live)

  • Prepare deployment packages including configuration files, API credentials, runbooks, and rollback plans
  • Submit change requests through JLL's formal change management process (CAB approvals, release windows, stakeholder notifications)
  • Execute production deployments: coordinate cutover activities, migrate configurations, validate connectivity, and monitor initial data flows
  • Conduct post-deployment validation: confirm data accuracy, monitor error logs, and verify business processes
  • Provide hypercare support during initial production stabilization
  • Create support documentation and runbooks for ongoing operations

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Integration Delivery

  • Own the design → build → UAT → deploy lifecycle for integrations between Aravo and PeopleSoft, Trustpair, Ingenious, Omnea, Yardi, Avetta, ISN, and Corrigo
  • Manage multiple concurrent integrations at different lifecycle stages (e.g., one in UAT, one in design, one in production support)
  • Troubleshoot integration issues: investigate data discrepancies, diagnose API errors, coordinate with platform owners, and implement fixes
  • Maintain integrations through platform updates and releases: ensure compatibility with monthly Aravo releases and related system changes
  • Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure integration accuracy and catch issues before they impact business processes
  • Monitor integration health using logs, error reports, and dashboards

Trustpair Platform Ownership

  • Serve as operational owner for Trustpair: manage configuration changes, user access, and business stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate SOC compliance audit responses: prepare documentation, validate controls, and respond to auditor requests
  • Process change requests from Finance and Procurement stakeholders
  • Maintain Trustpair configuration aligned with business requirements and security standards

Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation

  • Partner with Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, and Accounts Payable teams to understand integration needs and business processes
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and data mappings
  • Produce clear technical documentation: data flow diagrams (Visio), mapping specifications (Excel), API documentation, and support runbooks
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team on integration architecture alignment
  • Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate documentation creation, data analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the integration landscape

What You Bring

Must-Have Experience

  • 3-5+ years managing the full integration lifecycle (design → build → UAT → deploy) in an enterprise SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying integrations using: APIs: REST/SOAP endpoint configuration, authentication (OAuth, API keys), request/response formatting, error handlingFile-based transfers: CSV/XML/JSON formatting, field mapping, SFTP/AWS S3 automation, scheduled jobsMiddleware platforms: MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, Informatica, or similar low-code integration tools
  • Experience with procurement, finance, ERP, or AP systems such as Aravo, PeopleSoft, Yardi, Coupa, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms
  • Proven ability to execute UAT: create test plans, coordinate stakeholder testing, document results, and manage defect resolution
  • Experience working within formal change management processes (CAB approvals, deployment windows, release documentation)
  • Data mapping and transformation expertise: translate business requirements into field mappings, validation rules, and reconciliation logic
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — balance business needs, technical constraints, and project timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with API testing and troubleshooting tools (Postman, Swagger, curl, browser dev tools)
  • Comfortable working with data formats: JSON, XML, CSV, Excel
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications, API documentation, and data schemas
  • Experience with data validation and reconciliation: comparing source vs. target data, identifying discrepancies, ensuring accuracy
  • Familiarity with file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, cloud storage APIs)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office: Excel (data analysis, mapping templates), Visio (data flow diagrams), Teams, PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for documentation, requirements analysis, data mapping, and troubleshooting

Process & Compliance

  • Experience with SOC audit processes: documentation requirements, access controls, control validation
  • Understanding of change management best practices: risk assessment, rollback planning, stakeholder communication
  • High attention to detail — integration errors impact supplier payments, compliance data, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects, prioritize work, and escalate appropriately

Nice to Have

  • Prior platform administration experience with Aravo, PeopleSoft, Yardi, Trustpair, or similar systems
  • Exposure to SQL for data validation and troubleshooting (queries, not development)
  • Real estate or procurement/sourcing domain knowledge
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for integration health tracking
  • Background in business analysis or technical project coordination
