About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full-Time Retail Assistant (30-40 hours a week) with a Duty Manager's Certificate a bonus (or but be able to obtain one) to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with their selections and provide excellent service.

• Manage store operations in the absence of the store manager.

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.

• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising.

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.

• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

About you

• Current Duty Manager's Certificate or able to obtain one.

• Previous experience in retail, preferably in the liquor industry.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• A passion for customer service and a positive attitude.
