You will be involved in the installation of custom joinery, cabinetry, wall panelling, counters, shelving, and shop fit-out components across retail, hospitality, office, and commercial environments.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in joinery installation or shop fit-outs
- Commercial fit-out or interior construction experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry, counters, shelving, and wall panelling installation
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
- Own tools and reliable transport preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Install joinery, cabinetry, counters, shelving, and interior fit-out components
- Carry out shop fit-out and finishing work to a high standard
- Read and work from plans, specifications, and drawings
- Ensure all installations meet quality and project requirements
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and productive work environment
- Work closely with project managers and other trades on-site
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining excellent craftsmanship
- Competitive pay rates of $35-$40 per hour depending on experience
