R/W Connection Inc., a leading distributor of Industrial Hose, Gaskets, Conveyor Belting, and MRO supplies for over 70 years, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our Industrial & Hydraulic Hose Department at our Landisville, PA headquarters.
Position Overview:
This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and preparing industrial and hydraulic hose products with precision and attention to detail. We provide training for motivated individuals interested in developing skills in a specialized trade within a stable and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and crimp industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to customer specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, customer requirements, and job specifications.
- Perform pressure testing and quality inspections on finished assemblies.
- Operate hose fabrication, cutting, and crimping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory through cycle counts, stocking, and order preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality products and excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and machinery.
- Basic math, measuring, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Prior fabrication, hose, hydraulic, or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
