About the role

You'll look after your own group of clients as their go-to person. This is a real move from bookkeeping into accounting, with your own clients, GST and annual accounts finalisation from day one. You'll work with clients ranging from family trusts to growing local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Looking after your own group of clients as their go-to person

• Preparing and filing GST returns

• Finalising annual accounts

• Trust admin, such as gifting, minutes and record keeping

• Keeping client ledgers sorted in Xero

About you

• At least 3 years of solid bookkeeping, with GST experience

• Confidence in Xero

• Curiosity about the bigger picture. Study under way, or a plan to start, is a bonus

• A love of detail, and the confidence to say "that doesn't look right"

• A friendly way with people, because your clients will be calling you
