About the role

This is a varied and hands-on position. You will work closely with the management team and gradually learn different aspects of running a holiday park. You don't need previous management experience. We are happy to train the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Checking guests in and out

• Answering guest enquiries by phone, email and in person

• Helping guests and making sure they have a great stay

• Assisting with bookings through Booking.com, Expedia and other platforms

• Helping with cleaning, maintenance and general presentation of the property

• Checking that rooms, cabins, campsites and facilities are well presented

• Assisting with swimming pool and hot pool operations

• Helping coordinate daily tasks with other team members

• Assisting with basic administration and office work

• Learning about occupancy, pricing and online booking management

About you

• Reliable and responsible

• Friendly and confident when dealing with guests

• Willing to learn

• A good communicator

• Organised and able to manage different tasks

• Practical and willing to get involved

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Able to stay calm and positive during busy periods

• Interested in developing a long-term career in hospitality and tourism

• Good English communication skills are required

Alpine Pacific Holiday Park is a well-established holiday park located in beautiful Kaikōura. We provide motel rooms, cabins and powered campsites for guests from New Zealand and around the world. We are a busy business, particularly during the summer season.
