Step by Step Training specialises in one-to-one digital literacy and vocational training for adult learners.
We’re expanding and looking for an experienced trainer in the North Shore (Auckland) region.
This is a part-time, contractor role ideal for educators who value independence and flexibility. You’ll deliver private one-to-one training from your home-based training area (face-to-face and online) using our resources and digital systems.

What you’ll need:
Teaching, tutoring, coaching or training experience and/or qualifications
Confidence training face-to-face and online
Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office, Windows, Email, Internet)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A private home office or training space, with trainer-provided equipment, including a Windows-based laptop or desktop computer and an ergonomically suitable, height-adjustable chair
Empathy, adaptability, and professionalism
NZQA 4098 or experience assessing unit standards (or willingness to gain this)
Bonus if you have:
Experience training in Xero or vocational topics
Are able to travel to local areas in the North Shore area

Our students are typically adults returning to work after injury or time away from employment, often referred by ACC and other agencies.
