Experienced Gardener – Take the Next Step into Business Ownership

Turn your gardening experience into your own supported business—with a professional branded van on a low-cost lease and only a one-year initial commitment.

You know the gardening industry. Could your next step be owning the business?

If you have at least three years’ practical gardening experience, you may be ready for more than another gardening job.

Paramount Gardening is offering selected experienced gardeners the opportunity to establish and operate their own local gardening business as part of the Paramount franchise network in all regions across New Zealand.

You bring the gardening knowledge, practical ability and drive. Paramount provides the brand, training and ongoing support to help you make the transition from experienced gardener to business owner.

This is a genuine business opportunity, not a salaried employment position.

A practical pathway into business ownership

One of the biggest barriers to starting a gardening business is securing a reliable, professional vehicle.

To help the right people get started, Paramount Gardening is offering access to a professionally sign-written van through a low-cost lease arrangement.

The current offer includes:

• A professional Paramount Gardening sign-written van

• A low-cost van lease

• Only a one-year initial commitment

• The option to exit at the end of the first year

• The option to purchase the van at its residual value

• Training and operational support

• The backing of the established Paramount brand

Full franchise costs, van lease conditions and contractual terms will be explained as part of the selection process and before any commitment is made.

What your business could provide

Depending on your skills and local customer requirements, your services may include:

• Lawn mowing and edging

• General garden and grounds maintenance

• Hedge trimming

• Shrub and plant care

• Pruning

• Weed control

• Seasonal garden work

• Leaf and garden debris removal

• Residential and commercial property maintenance

• Additional garden improvement work

Who we are looking for

This opportunity is designed for experienced people who are already comfortable doing the work and are now ready to build something of their own.

You will ideally have:

• At least three years’ practical gardening, landscaping or grounds-maintenance experience

• Pride in delivering consistently high-quality work

• A professional and friendly approach with customers

• Good reliability, communication and time-management skills

• A current New Zealand driver licence

• The motivation to operate and grow your own business

• The legal right to work and operate a business in New Zealand

You may currently be working as a gardener, landscaper, groundskeeper, mower operator, property-maintenance professional or lawn and garden team leader.

Formal horticultural qualifications are helpful, but practical experience, reliability and the right attitude are what matter most.

More than your next gardening job

This is an opportunity to use the experience you have already built to create something for yourself.

You will have the independence of operating your own business, while being supported by Paramount’s training, systems, recognised brand and wider network.

If you have considered becoming self-employed but have been uncertain about taking the first step, this one-year initial opportunity gives you a practical way to explore business ownership with established support behind you.
