About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Orchard Foreman to join our Team, in Nelson, reporting directly to Site Manager.

In this role, you will provide strong leadership and ensure the smooth execution of daily orchard operations to optimize apple growth. Your ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and previous experience collaborating with RSE teams will be highly valued. During peak season, flexibility to work additional hours may be required.

Skills and Experience

• Be part of the wider team as well as manage a small team of Orchard Hands 

• Assist with training of seasonal staff 

• Completing general orchard work, such as but not limited to re-development, tractor driving, spraying and pruning 

• A minimum of 2-years’ experience in orchard operations is preferred

• Enforce health and safety regulations.

• Full-driving licence

• Growsafe Certificate
