About the role

We're looking for reliable, hardworking General Labourers to join an established civil infrastructure team working across Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty. This is an opportunity to get involved in essential road maintenance projects, working alongside experienced crews to keep our local roads and infrastructure operating safely.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with pothole repairs and road surface maintenance

• Supporting general civil construction and maintenance activities

• Roadside vegetation control and weed spraying where required

• Litter collection and roadside clean-up

• Clearing and maintaining roadside drains

• Assisting crews with equipment, tools and materials

• Following site safety procedures and traffic management requirements

• Working alongside experienced operators and maintenance teams

About you

• Previous labouring, construction or civil experience is advantageous

• A current driver's licence is preferred

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

• Reliable transport and the ability to arrive on time

• Willingness to undertake a variety of maintenance duties

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to work safely as part of a team

• Willingness to complete pre-employment drug testing and site inductions
