There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of a successful real estate office, and we’re looking for someone who loves being the person who keeps it all moving.

We have a fixed-term opportunity available at EVES Whakatāne, covering parental leave from 30 November 2026 through to the end of June 2027, with a handover from our current Branch Administrator to help you hit the ground running.

At the centre of the branch, you’ll be the go-to person helping our sales team stay organised, making sure listings and marketing are on track, keeping information and systems up to date and helping create a great experience for clients and visitors.

It’s a role with plenty of variety. One minute you might be preparing property marketing or sales documentation, the next you’re answering a question from an agent, updating the database or making sure everything behind the scenes is running as it should.  You’ll probably enjoy this role if you’re someone who:

  • Gets genuine satisfaction from being organised and on top of the detail

  • Enjoys supporting others and being part of a team

  • Can confidently juggle competing priorities without letting things slip

  • Is comfortable with technology and picking up new systems

  • Brings initiative and doesn’t always wait to be asked

  • Is friendly, professional and enjoys providing great service

Real estate administration experience would be a definite advantage, but we’re also open to someone with a strong administration background who can quickly get up to speed.

You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team and a busy branch where your contribution will genuinely make a difference. And with a handover from the person currently doing the role, you’ll have the chance to learn how everything works before making the role your own.

If you’re looking for a part-time opportunity where you can put your administration skills to good use, get involved in plenty of different things and become an important part of the team, we’d love to hear from you.
