White + Wong's Queenstown is on the hunt for a confident, hands-on Duty Manager who knows what it takes to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
We're looking for someone who can take charge of a busy floor, lead a team with confidence and bring plenty of personality to every shift.
You'll be joining one of Queenstown's most popular dining destinations, where great food, vibrant energy and outstanding hospitality come together.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with our management team, you'll play a key role in keeping the restaurant running at its best.
Taking ownership of busy services and leading from the front
Inspiring, supporting and developing a high-performing team
Creating memorable guest experiences and building relationships
Driving sales and contributing to overall venue performance
Supporting rostering, recruitment, onboarding and training
Managing reservations, guest feedback and daily operations
Maintaining exceptional service and presentation standards
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and liquor licensing requirements
Have you got what it takes?
We're after someone who is experienced, switched on and genuinely enjoys leading people.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospitality leadership role
Proven ability to manage busy, high-volume restaurant services
Strong communication skills and a natural leadership style
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and confidence under pressure
Excellent food, beverage and restaurant service knowledge
Experience with POS and reservation systems
A current Manager's Certificate or LCQ (preferred)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
