An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Hamilton branch as a Storeperson/Customer Service Representative on a fixed-term, 6-month contract, working Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience in customer service, although training will be provided. Neatness & attention to detail are prime requisites.
Tasks & responsibilities
Using a forklift (full training provided) to move stock and unload stock transfers.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch or collection.
Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock.
Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stocktakes.
Ensuring stock is stored safely, securely and efficiently, with a high standard of warehouse organisation.
Completing relevant stock management documentation and system updates.
Assisting with customer service and enquiries in the showroom or over the phone when required.
Providing occasional support to the CSR team with customer orders, collections and general enquiries.
Maintaining general knowledge of the Company's products, promotions and procedures to assist customers when needed.
Working collaboratively with the branch team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a positive customer experience
Qualifications & experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and customer management software.
Can perform well under pressure.
