Customer Care & Administration Superstar – Kerikeri
With the opportunity to grow into Team Leadership
Are you an experienced administrator who loves helping customers, knows your way around Microsoft 365 and enjoys being the person others can turn to for help?
We’re looking for someone special to join our Kerikeri team.
This isn’t just another admin role. We’re looking for an experienced, confident person who can become a key part of the team and, over time, potentially step into a team leadership role supporting both our Kerikeri and Kaitaia teams.
You’ll need to be confident dealing with customers, organised, comfortable juggling different priorities, and happy helping and guiding others when they need support.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Great customer care skills and experience
Strong administration experience
Excellent Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Confidence working with spreadsheets, reports and customer information
Previous experience leading, supervising or supporting a team
Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to use your initiative
The ability to take ownership and see things through
A friendly, professional communication style
A calm approach when things get busy
A genuine willingness to help both customers and colleagues
We’re looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, help keep things running smoothly and isn’t afraid to suggest a better way of doing things.
You don’t necessarily need to already be a Team Leader. We’re equally interested in someone who has the experience, confidence and desire to grow into a leadership position as they get to know our business and our teams.
The position is based in Kerikeri, but you’ll also play an important part in supporting our Kaitaia team.
Hours
Ideally, this is a full-time position working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
However, we don’t want to miss out on the right person, so for an exceptional candidate we may consider some flexibility around hours, such as 9.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Why Work with Us?
At Northland Waste, we value our employees and the community we serve. As part of our team, you will be contributing to a company that is proud to be 100% New Zealand-owned and operates with a strong focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction.
If you’re ready for a role where you can use your customer care and administration experience, put your Microsoft 365 skills to good use, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop your leadership skills, we’d love to hear from you.
