The Opportunity: Lead Shifts. Engineer Efficiency.
We are hiring a process-oriented Shift Leader & LEAN Process Coordinator to join our leadership team. In our Restaurant, Coordinators are Shift Leaders with an intentional focus area—you will spend the majority of your week running fast-paced shifts on the floor alongside our team, while owning one high-impact, analytical focus area that supports our Directors: LEAN Continuous Improvement.

We process thousands of guest transactions a day. Seconds matter. You will be our boots-on-the-ground efficiency engineer, using LEAN Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste, streamline motion, and ensure our shift systems run with mechanical precision.

What You Will Own (Your Focus Area):

  • TIM WOODY Waste Audits: Conduct weekly structured floor observations to identify physical waste on the line, focusing heavily on reducing unnecessary Motion (saving steps for our team) and Waiting (breaking bottlenecks for our guests).

  • Standard Work Compliance: Audit and coach team members on standardized work methods (e.g., standard bagging setups or assembly-line sequences) to eliminate variance and ensure consistency across dayparts.

  • Spaghetti Mapping & Station Layouts: Physically study and map out employee movement paths during peak rushes, helping the Directors make micro-adjustments to equipment, tools, and condiment placements so the team can work "in 3 steps or 3 seconds."

Your Daily Shift Leadership Duties:

  • Lead front-of-house or back-of-house shift zones, maintaining high standards of food safety, speed, and hospitality.

  • Run real-time break transitions and keep the floor balanced, using your analytical eye to adjust lineups when bottlenecks occur.

  • Report direct observations, waste metrics, and physical process bottleneck solutions to the Operations Director.

Who You Are:

  • You love data and systems: You look at a busy kitchen or drive-thru and naturally see an assembly line that can be optimized.

  • You are highly observant: You spot micro-inefficiencies (like a teammate walking 10 extra steps for a cup lid) that others walk right past.

  • You want real-world LEAN experience: You want to apply Six Sigma principles to a high-volume, real-time operating environment where your process improvements directly impact profitability and speed.
