Key Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and nursing staff in the initial assessment and management of emergency patients.

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.

• Assist in patient triage, patient shifting, and emergency care activities under the supervision of the clinical team.

• Support emergency procedures, including CPR, wound dressing, and other interventions as per training and authorization.

• Ensure timely documentation of patient details, clinical observations, and emergency care provided.

• Coordinate with diagnostic, laboratory, radiology, admission, and inpatient departments for timely patient management.

• Assist in maintaining emergency equipment, crash carts, and essential medical supplies.

• Follow infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.

• Ensure prompt communication of any deterioration in a patient's condition to the treating doctor or nursing team.

• Support smooth patient flow and timely handover during shift changes.
