We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 4 Driver to join a busy civil construction team. This is a hands-on role that offers variety, with a mix of driving, machine operation, and general site support across civil projects.
If you're safety-focused, flexible, and enjoy working as part of a hardworking crew, we'd love to hear from you. Experience in the civil industry is preferred, but we're also interested in candidates with the right licences, attitude, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 4 trucks safely and efficiently
- Transport materials, equipment, and machinery to and from sites
- Operate machinery where required (WTR)
- Assist with site preparation, earthworks, and general civil works
- Complete pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crews
What We're Looking For
- Full Class 4 Licence
- Current W, T, R Endorsements on licence
- Previous civil construction experience is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and stay away from home when required
- Physically fit and capable of working in a hands-on environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Able to pass a Ministry of Justice/background check
