Transport Trailers was established 70 years ago and we have a reputation for being the industry leader in heavy Aluminium and Hardox tipping body equipment for truck and trailer setups.

Our family-owned business has a long and successful history, having established strong and enduring relationships with some of New Zealand’s oldest transport companies.

We have a brand-new facility in South Auckland and we are looking for a new team member to join us.  Our team is involved in handling a variety of work including:-

• Repairing steel or aluminium bodies

• Completing trailer refurbishments

• Repairing accident damage

• General truck or trailer engineering repairs and maintenance

• Maintaining and repairs on trailer running gear, including disc and drum brake maintenance

To be successful in this role you will:-

• Have experience in aluminium fabrication, ideally within heavy transport manufacturing

• Be flexible and adaptable in your work approach and have a strong willingness to learn

• Be a team player with good communication skills

• Be self-motivated, honest and reliable

• Be available to work overtime when required. Regular overtime is offered and overtime rates are paid

If you want to live in Hamilton, then we have a van that transports team members to and from Auckland each day, or you can choose to live in Auckland.  We have flexibility.  THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

This is a full time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed.  Our days of work are Monday to Friday, with the option to work overtime.  Regular overtime is offered, and overtime rates are paid after 40 hours at time and a half.
