Solar Design & Quoting Coordinator (Part-Time, 20–30 hours, Silverdale – Work from Home Possible)

Solarcraft is a busy, well-established New Zealand electrical, solar and EV company with around 16 years in business. Demand is booming, and we need an experienced trades person to turn our site visits into great quotes, fast. This role would suit a semi-retired electrician, builder or building inspector looking for flexible work.

What you'll do

• Interpret site photos and notes from the owner's visits, provided the same day, and assess roofs, switchboards and buildings for suitability

• Build solar and battery designs and quotes in SolarPlus, with options ready within 48 hours of each site visit

• Prepare two or three options per client, mainly by system size and sometimes by brand (Sigenergy and Tesla)

• Keep customer jobs and records up to date in AroFlo and HubSpot

• Follow up with clients after quotes go out and answer their questions

What we're looking for

• NZ electrical or building trade experience, with solid knowledge of NZ building practices

• Technically minded, organised, with strong attention to detail

• A good listener who explains things simply, without technical waffle

• Confident using computers. Experience with SolarPlus, AroFlo or similar software is a plus, and training is provided

What we offer

• $38–$48 per hour depending on experience, with flexible hours (some availability Thursdays and Fridays preferred)

• Ideally based in Silverdale, with working from home a possibility for the right person

• A growing team and a role where your trade experience is genuinely valued
