Job Purpose
To plan, execute, monitor, and complete civil construction activities related to railway siding projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements. The role involves coordination with contractors, consultants, railway authorities, and internal stakeholders for timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
Manage end-to-end execution of civil works for railway siding projects, including earthwork, formation, drainage, retaining structures, roads, culverts, and associated infrastructure.
Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, and railway authorities for seamless project implementation.
Review construction drawings and provide technical inputs for project improvement.

Cost & Contract Management
Verify contractor bills, measurement sheets, and work completion records.
Monitor project costs and support budget control initiatives.
Assist in preparation and evaluation of BOQs, estimates, and tender documents.

Safety & Compliance
Ensure implementation of safety standards and statutory compliance at site.
Conduct regular safety inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with railway, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Documentation
Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and management presentations.
Maintain project records, drawings, approvals, and technical documentation.
Track project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
