About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Warehouse Store Person to join a busy supply chain and distribution facility in Canterbury. In this key operational role, you will be responsible for handling incoming stock, picking and packing orders, managing inventory, and keeping dispatch lines moving smoothly. Whether operating forklifts, managing inward goods, or preparing freight for transport, you will play a central role in maintaining accurate, safe, and efficient warehouse operations across Christchurch.

What You'll Be Doing

• Receiving, inspecting, and processing inward goods against dockets and purchase orders
• Accurately picking, packing, labelling, and staging orders for local and national dispatch
• Operating forklifts (counterbalance and reach) safely to unload trucks and stack high-bay racking
• Carrying out routine inventory checks, stock counts, and reporting stock discrepancies
• Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners to track inventory movement
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks, couriers, and freight containers safely
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and hazard-free warehouse environment in compliance with H&S protocols

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of proven experience in a warehouse, storeperson, or dispatch role
• Current OSH Forklift Operator Certificate and F Endorsement on your NZ Driver’s License (Reach hoist experience highly regarded)
• Competency using RF scanners, WMS software, or basic computer inventory systems
• Solid understanding of inward/outward goods processing and freight documentation
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting, bending, and active work
• Punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail with strong organizational skills
• Must have your own standard PPE (Steel-cap safety boots and Hi-Vis vest/shirt)
• Valid right to work in New Zealand and reliable transport

Pay & Benefits
