Attending an Information and Practice Day is the first step in the recruitment process for many of our candidates. 
It’s not compulsory to attend but is a great, no-strings-attached way to learn more about the role and kick-start your journey to become a Career Firefighter!

The session will cover:

• What a firefighter does

• A breakdown of the recruitment process and how to prepare

• What the 12-week recruit’s course entails

• Fleet and equipment used by firefighters

• Opportunity to practice aspects of the Physical Pre-Entry Test (PPT)

• A chance to ask our firefighters first-hand for tips to help you put your best foot forward!
