We're looking for an experienced ET&U - Platform Expert to accelerate the adoption of AI-powered development practices, drive organisational change and help engineering teams embrace innovative technologies throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
📍Location: Lisbon, Portugal - Hybrid
🔧 What you'll do:
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into software engineering processes and workflows.
- Define and implement AI-assisted development practices across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Lead change management initiatives, including communication, training, coaching and technology adoption.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security and Testing teams.
- Support pilot initiatives, gather feedback and drive the adoption of new AI-powered development practices.
- Develop reusable guidelines, frameworks and enablement materials to support engineering teams.
- Monitor adoption, productivity, software quality and developer experience metrics.
- Identify emerging AI technologies and translate industry trends into business opportunities.
- Promote collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation across multidisciplinary teams.
🔐 What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in change management, organisational transformation or technology adoption, preferably within IT or software engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, testing, security and releases.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development and AI agents, including their applications, limitations and impact on engineering teams.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with both technical teams and management stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience driving technology adoption initiatives, training programmes and organisational change.
- Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams in complex organisational environments.
- Results-oriented mindset, using metrics and feedback to measure adoption and impact.
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
🛠️ Nice to have:
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, software engineering transformation or Developer Experience (DevEx).
- Experience building communities of practice, training programmes or internal champion networks.
- Knowledge of software development security, quality and governance practices.
- Experience leading change initiatives within large-scale or international organisations.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and emerging AI engineering practices.
