Experience

·        5-8+ years of BIM and Scan-to-BIM experience.

·        Minimum 3+ years leading point cloud-based modeling projects.

·        Experience in utility, transmission, substation, or industrial facility modeling.

·        Expertise in Revit Family creation and BIM standards implementation.

·        Experience establishing QA/QC procedures and BIM verification workflows.

·        Ability to lead project teams and mentor junior modelers.

·        Experience in client coordination, effort estimation, and project planning.

Additional Responsibilities

·        Lead BIM execution and delivery for substation Scan2BIM programs.

·        Review model quality and compliance with project standards.

·        Support BIM Verification Plan and Validation Report preparation.

·        Establish object libraries and reusable BIM content standards.

·        Drive continuous improvement in Scan-to-BIM processes and automation workflows.

 

Supervises one or more sections of engineers and plans and directs the work of subordinates. Estimates manpower, schedules completion dates, monitors progress, and evaluates the results of jobs in order to meet contract terms. Assures that work performed follows generally stated objectives and is completed on time and within budget. Ensures that work is carried out in accordance with necessary health and safety regulations. Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and four to seven years of experience. Frequently reports to an Engineering Manager.
