About the role
Our Hamilton branch is growing strongly, and we are looking for a capable, hands-on person to join our experienced team. If you enjoy working outdoors, travelling to exciting locations, and seeing the results of a great team effort, this could be the opportunity for you. We would ideally like to hear from an experienced marquee installer or rigger who is ready for a varied role supporting events across New Zealand. Based in Hamilton, you will be fit, reliable, comfortable with physical outdoor work, and willing to travel with the business. No two projects are quite the same, making this an excellent role for someone who enjoys variety, practical challenges, and being part of a hardworking crew.
Key responsibilities
- Installation and dismantling of marquees
- Supporting events across New Zealand
- Working collaboratively with an experienced team
- Occasional travel throughout New Zealand, particularly during busy event season
- Weekend work during peak periods as required
About you
- Experience in the installation and dismantling of marquees, with Apex Level 1 or 2 accreditation
- A practical mindset and confidence working with your hands
- Enjoyment of outdoor work
- Self-motivation and a positive, can-do attitude
- Confidence using basic tools
- The physical fitness required for medium to heavy manual work
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment
- At least a Class 2 driver licence, preferably with a Class 4 and/or 5 licence and an F endorsement
- Your own reliable transport
- A strong awareness of the importance of health and safety
