We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Assistant to join our Livewell store in Albany, supporting our small, dedicated team.
This is a permanent part time opportunity with regular hours across five days, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a business with a real purpose.

Our Albany store offers a carefully selected range of mobility, comfort and independent living products designed to make everyday life easier. From practical daily living aids through to mobility scooters, wheelchairs and specialist equipment, we help our customers find solutions that suit their individual needs.
We're more than just a retail store. We're a welcoming space where customers, families and healthcare professionals can explore products, ask questions and receive genuine, personalised support.
About the Role
Working alongside our two permanent team members and reporting to Christine, our Store Manager, you'll play an important part in creating a fantastic experience for everyone who visits Livewell.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers and taking the time to understand their needs.
Helping customers explore our product range and find suitable solutions.
Providing friendly, knowledgeable service and supporting the team to achieve sales targets.
Processing sales and customer transactions.
Keeping the store looking fantastic, with well presented displays, tidy shelves and a clean, welcoming environment.
Receiving deliveries, replenishing stock and helping with general store operations.
Supporting healthcare professionals and assessors who use our store facilities.
Helping with the daily running of the store, including opening and closing procedures and taking responsibility for the store when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and takes pride in delivering great customer service.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous retail or customer service experience.
A warm, friendly and approachable personality.
Confidence communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to getting things done.
Reliability, initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
Experience with mobility or independent living products would be helpful, but it's certainly not essential. We'll provide full training on our products and systems.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who cares about people, enjoys being part of a team and wants to make a positive difference.
Working Hours
This is a permanent part time role based at our Livewell store in Albany.
Tuesday to Friday: 10.00am to 2.30pm
Saturday: 9.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday availability is essential, as this is an important trading day for our store.
