Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Technician to join our modern Invercargill workshop.

About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out all aspects of servicing, maintenance, warranty, diagnostics and repairs across a range of heavy diesel vehicles.
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Trouble shoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Delivering efficient, high-quality workmanship and customer service
- Liaising with technical support teams and workshop staff
- Assisting with the development and mentoring of apprentice and junior technicians
- Participating in an on-call roster (approximately one week per month)
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A recognised trade qualification in Heavy Automotive or Diesel Mechanics
- Experience working on heavy transport vehicles and equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- A minimum Class 2 driver's licence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
