Keep our people, plant and operations running smoothly! Join one of the best People & Capability teams around!

Intergroup is looking for an organised, detail-focused and proactive Resource Coordinator to join our People & Capability team.

If you're someone who enjoys working with numbers, coordinating information, solving problems and keeping things running behind the scenes, this could be the role for you!

This is a key role within our business, ensuring employee and plant hours are accurately recorded, reconciled and reported across our operations. You'll work closely with operational teams to ensure timesheets are correct, information matches across different systems and employees are being paid correctly in line with their employment agreements and contractual obligations.

A background or understanding of payroll would be a real advantage, particularly when it comes to understanding different pay conditions and making sure our people are paid accurately.

No two days will be quite the same, with a mix of reporting, administration, problem-solving and supporting the wider business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate and monitor employee and plant timesheets to ensure hours are accurately recorded.

  • Reconcile labour and plant hours across different systems and platforms, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Review employee hours against employment agreements and contractual requirements to help ensure employees are paid correctly.

  • Maintain accurate labour and plant records and ensure information is up to date.

  • Prepare regular reports on labour hours, plant utilisation and resource information.

  • Follow up with operational teams and managers to resolve missing or incorrect timesheet information.

  • Support the business with accurate reporting to assist operational planning and decision-making.

  • Work closely with the Payroll and Operations teams to ensure information is accurate and processes run smoothly.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in an administration, coordination or data-focused role.

  • A background or understanding of payroll would be advantageous.

  • An understanding of employment agreements, contractual obligations and different pay conditions would be a real bonus.

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers.

  • Good computer skills and the ability to work across multiple systems and platforms.

  • Experience with timesheets, payroll, labour or plant reporting would be an advantage.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work with people across all levels of the business.

  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
