Metro Performance Glass has been shaping the future of glass in New Zealand for nearly 40 years. We’re proud of our reputation for innovation, quality, but what really sets us apart is our people and our dedication to delivering excellent service to our customers.

Keep the jobs moving. Keep customers happy. Make things happen.

We're looking for an organised, switched-on Glazing / Customer Services Coordinator who enjoys juggling different priorities, solving problems and keeping things running smoothly.

This is a busy, hands-on coordination role where you'll be the link between our customers, glaziers, production teams and contractors. From processing orders and answering customer queries to organising materials and coordinating glazing jobs, you'll play a key part in making sure the right people and products are in the right place at the right time.

If you're someone who takes ownership, has an eye for detail and enjoys getting things sorted, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing customer enquiries, processing glass orders and providing great customer service.

  • Coordinating glazing jobs, site deliveries and materials to keep projects on track.

  • Working closely with glaziers, contractors, production and dispatch teams to ensure jobs run smoothly.

  • Preparing job packs, purchase orders and glazing documentation.

  • Reviewing quotes, contracts, site measurements and technical specifications.

  • Keeping systems, records and invoicing accurate and up to date.

  • Supporting stock control, ordering of glazing supplies and general administration.

  • Troubleshooting issues and finding practical solutions to keep customers happy and jobs moving.

What we're looking for

We're after someone who's practical, organised and confident dealing with customers and a busy workload. You'll be comfortable picking up the phone, asking questions, following things through and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in customer service, administration or job coordination, preferably within the building, construction or glazing industry.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and managing documentation.

  • Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and tradespeople.

  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.

  • The ability to read plans, understand measurements or work with technical specifications would be a real advantage.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn the technical side of our business.

Experience in glass or glazing would be a bonus, but it's not essential. What's more important is your ability to learn, take ownership and get things done.

Why Join Metro?

You'll be joining an established New Zealand business with a strong reputation, a supportive team and plenty of variety in your day.

This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge of the glass and glazing industry, work alongside experienced people and make a real contribution to keeping our customers and glazing teams moving.
