The Role
As our Site Manager, you’ll lead the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of our projects on the ground. You’ll coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to keep timelines and client expectations on track, while championing safety and quality on site. The role covers projects across the Wellington and Kapiti region.
What You’ll Do
Oversee day-to-day site operations, making sure work is delivered to specification, schedule, quality and safety standards. Ultimately, you’ll get it built.
Coordinate all site resources, including labour, subcontractors and suppliers
Keep accurate daily records, site diaries and inspection logs
Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and consultants to keep project delivery running smoothly
Interpret plans and specifications, managing construction from set-out through to finishing
Lead site safety meetings, hazard management and incident reporting
Support and mentor apprentices, cadets and junior site staff
Manage plant, equipment and vehicles so they stay safe and reliable
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager in the NZ construction sector
You’ve seen it all, and you’re confident delivering any project
A practical problem-solver who keeps projects on track
A strong leader who sets the standard for safety and quality on site
