We’re looking for an experienced Property and Commercial lawyer to join one of the leading law firms in the North.
You will work closely with our Property / Commercial team in Whangārei, led by Chris Taylor. If you have a passion for business and the law, this is a great opportunity to grow your property and commercial law career with a busy and supportive team. You will work with and learn from some of the best property and commercial lawyers in the North, gaining broad experience across a wide variety of clients and business matters, including:
Working on a variety of property and commercial matters for valued clients, including business sales and purchases, leasing, contract reviews, drafting and more
Taking a big-picture view for your clients by getting to know their business, understanding their needs, and advising on a range of commercial matters
Being actively involved in client relationships and developing as a trusted adviser

Qualified lawyer (NZ admitted or eligible), ideally with 4+ years' PQE
Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, referrers and other practitioners

Confidence using technology and learning new systems
