Freeman is a Wellington-based information services provider to the energy, mining, quarrying, roading and legal sectors. Our client base includes some of New Zealand's largest organisations.
We have a specific opening for a role growing the subscriber base across our legal publication Capital Letter.
We are looking for a motivated individual who likes the idea of advancing themselves and their career. You will work inside a subscriptions team with two others.
We are after someone who is keen to sell to new clients. You will be able to create your own opportunities and convert them, leveraging our strong brand profile in the sector.
The successful candidate will need to be confident in both a phone and face-to-face sales environment. A large part of the role will be spent engaging with clients and you will be responsible for a steady outbound phonecall and meeting schedule.
Corporate presentation skills will be assumed and you will be happy to interact with industry executives at a high level but also at an operational level.
A financial incentive is part of the salary package and there is ample room to over-achieve.
National travel is a part of this role and an unrestricted driver's license is essential. After-hours attendance at industry functions, conferences and other events is also required.
An understanding of and/or experience in the legal sector would be an advantage but is not a requirement for this role. This role will suit someone early in their career with some experience in customer service and sales.
