As System Function Design Engineer (engine & aftertreatment controls engineer) in Eindhoven, you develop advanced control concepts for heavy-duty diesel engines and powertrains, with a focus on emission control, aftertreatment and on-board diagnostics (OBD).
For a global technology leader in premium trucks, Trinamics is looking for a senior controls engineer for the engine development center of competence. You join the system function design group, which designs control concepts to meet new customer and legal (EU and NA) requirements, in a multidisciplinary team.
Working hours: 36 hours per week, regular office hours, on site in Eindhoven.

Must-haves - MSc in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, specialized in dynamics and control. - Automotive experience. - Knowledge of and experience with engine and aftertreatment controller development. - Experience with Six Sigma processes, such as DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, FMEA and Monte Carlo. - Extensive knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink. - Good knowledge of requirements engineering. - Good command of English.
Nice-to-haves - Experience with OBD and EU/NA emission regulations....
