Our client is asset heavy and an integral part of Queensland. They are looking for a technical reporting specialist  to contribute to streamlining and adding sophistication to the reporting pack.

About the Role
You will get to take charge of disclosures, position papers and other year end requirements. 

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with regulatory reporting obligations, liaising with internal/external auditors and supporting audit readiness

• Analyse and interpret accounting standards, advising on new requirements and their impact on financial reporting

• Review complex reconciliations, journals, and support the month-end close process with a high level of accuracy

• Contribute to acquisition accounting and year end obligations around acquisitions

• Drive process improvements, knowledge sharing, and mentor junior staff members
  

About You:

You will be CA/ CPA qualified, have had experience in a Big 4/ Mid-Tier firm, good understanding of complex accounting standards and have proven stakeholder engagement skills. Experience using large ERP and high Excel proficiency a must.
