About the role
This is a hands-on technical role where you'll be responsible for setting up and adjusting extrusion blow moulding machinery, troubleshooting production issues and ensuring our machines run efficiently while consistently producing quality products. You'll work with a variety of machinery, tooling and products in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Carrying out die and tooling changes, machine set-ups and adjustments.
Setting and optimising processing parameters to achieve consistent product quality and efficient production.
Identifying and resolving processing problems and machinery faults to minimise downtime.
Assisting with troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
Working closely with production technicians and supervisors to maintain production standards.
Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.
About you
Proven hands-on experience in extrusion blow moulding, preferably within rigid plastic packaging.
Sound technical knowledge of die setting, machine adjustments and processing parameters.
Good mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
An understanding of plastic resins and their processing characteristics.
A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A strong commitment to safety, quality and reliability.
