Financia Accountant (Temporary - Immediate Start)

We're recruiting for a short-term temporary assignment with a well-established SME business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is available immediately and can quickly get up to speed quickly and help out in all areas of accounts.

Key responsibilities include

• Bank reconciliations
• Credit control and debtor management
• Posting customer receipts
• Processing supplier invoices and credits
• Supplier payment preparation
• Control account reconciliations
• Customer statements and credit notes
• Assisting with VAT returns and month-end activities
• General finance administration and support

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience working within a UK finance or accounting function
• Experience within an SME environment
• Strong transactional finance skills across sales and purchase ledger
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage would be advantageous
• Availability to start immediately
• Full right to work in the UK

Contract: Short-term temporary assignment (approximately 1-2 weeks initially)
Location: Manchester M12 - onsite
Rate: £24-28 per hour
