About the role

A fixed term position for 12 months as a Teacher Aide at St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College, accompanying ākonga in their learning journey and working in partnership with teachers to ensure everyone can achieve their potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in-class/group/individual assistance with literacy and numeracy programmes

• In-class support of group and individual ākonga learning needs across all curriculum areas and levels as required

• Emmaus Learning Centre support of group and individual ākonga learning needs across all curriculum areas and levels as required

• Assistance with reader/writer or other examination assistance for assessment

• Support the learning of any ORRS funded ākonga as per their IEP

• Support individual ākonga educational needs as required

• Perform administrative duties associated with the Emmaus Learning Centre

• Prepare, maintain, and manage classroom resources and equipment for the Emmaus Learning Centre
